Bridal Market 2014 just came and brought a whole lot of beautiful new dresses to fall in love with. This season did not disappoint! Designers continued to turn up the volume on some of our favorite trends. Check it out...
1. Capes and Jackets: We're loving all the different ways this trend can go. These four styles are all from the stellar, new Monique Lhuillier collection, which went from demure, to mid century, to vamp. We'll take one of each, please!
2. Sleeves: Ever since Princess Cathrine put on that beautiful lacy long sleeved wedding dress, sleeves have been back in style. This season we saw so many different variations on this trend, including that beautiful blush dress by Jenny Pickham. Some of our other favorites came from Oscar De La Renta and Monique Lhuillier, who both played with length, and a lot of lace.
3. Peplum: Some of these dresses really blew us away! From more structured silhouettes from Oscar De La Renta and Vera Wang, to soft and romantic from Marchesa, to show stopping ball gown styles from Monique Lhuillier, there was a little something for everyone in this group.
4. Updated Ball Gowns: This is one of the trends that we're most pleased with! We love the drama of a big dress, but not the stuffiness of the old "princess" styles. Instead, these updated versions are full of personality and feel really specific. We look at each of these dresses and can instantly get an idea of which bride would wear them and what the wedding would look like. These stand outs are from Marchesa, Theia White Bridal, Monique Lhuillier ( can you tell that we're obsessed with this collection!?), Vera Wang, Marchesa, and Angel Sanchez.
